An Adventurous Moab Elopement Bridal Session

Eloping In Moab Was A Once In A Lifetime Opportunity

On a wedding day, there is little time for portraits. When each individual has their portrait taken what is the experience like? A nice background. A nice chair or couch. You perform the poses asked of you and then you move on.
Rachel knew from the beginning she didn't want traditions on her elopement day. She wanted a full experience. Rachel is a kind and quiet soul. She loves books, plants, nature and to draw. Dressing up is not something she does. She thought that since she was going to be getting dressed up for once, she better make the most of it.
After some discussion, we decided to go to Arches at sunset on her elopement day. It was important to Rachel to take in the moment. To have an experience. Choosing to elope gave Rachel the time to have this experience.
Few words were spoken that morning. It was one of those rare moments in life when words were not needed. Only presence.
